A chance to express your views

It is very important that the people who plan and deliver services for carers are aware of what is actually needed, and we offer a number of different types of opportunity for carers to make their voice heard.  These include:

  • Being on our consultation database, so that we can ask you for your views when a particular issue comes up
  • Being a member of one of the various carers policy and planning groups that exist
  • Getting involved in the training of social care staff

We held a Conference for Adur and Worthing carers on 11 September 2007, the Conference report for which can be found here.  A Conference for Arun carers took place on 20 November 2007, and a Conference for carers in Chanctonbury is to be planned soon.

If you would like to know more about any of these opportunities to give your opinion, just contact us  we can tell you more.  You can also always contact us about concerns about services, and we will do what we can to press for improvements to these.
